E-Cigarettes Policy

After consulting with Public Health England, and considering the interest of Wrotham Heath Golf Club and its members, it has been decided that vaping of e-cigarettes will not be allowed anywhere in the Clubhouse.

This decision was taken after considering the interests of individuals who suffer from asthma and other respiratory conditions and also taking into account the commercial considerations and professional etiquette of the Club.

It is the policy of Wrotham Heath Golf Club Ltd that all of our workplaces are smoke-free. Those using e-cigarettes do not need to be limited to using them in the designated smoking zone outside the Clubhouse.

This policy shall be reviewed annually by the Club Secretary.

Implementation
Overall responsibility for policy implementation and review rests with the Club Secretary.
All staff are obliged to follow and facilitate the implementation of this policy.
The Club Secretary will inform all existing members, employees, consultants and contractors of this policy and their role in the implementation and monitoring of the policy. They will also have to give all new personnel a copy of the policy on their start date.
